CDX congratulates Mike Klyde on achieving 2021 California Automotive Teacher of the Year!
Recognized for his hard work over the years and for material and presentations developed in response to COVID-19, Mike's efforts helped get students and their instructors back into the lab safely in 2020 and 2021. The board of California Automotive Teachers hopes to honor Mike for this achievement with a virtual ceremony and plaque presentation this fall.
CDX author and T-TEN lead instructor, Michael Klyde is a Professor of Automotive Technology at Cypress College and currently teaches courses on electrical systems and engine performance. He has worked in the auto industry since he was 18, starting out as an entry-level technician. During his career, he has moved on to research and development work, implemented curriculum instructional design, and performed curriculum development for a variety of automotive manufacturers.
